The Chimera Chronicle
February Edition
Week of February 23, 2026
Celebrating Our Progress
Welcome to the final week of February, Chimera Community! As we close out Black History Month, we reflect on the incredible learning and celebration that has taken place across our district. Our students have deepened their understanding of African American history and contributions while developing a greater appreciation for diversity and inclusion.
This week marks a time of reflection and celebration as we culminate our Black History Month observances. Student projects, performances, and presentations have demonstrated remarkable creativity and learning. We are proud of the meaningful conversations and connections that have emerged throughout the month.
As we look ahead to March, we prepare for spring assessments, Women\'s History Month, and the exciting final stretch of the school year. The foundation we\'ve built this semester positions our students for continued success.
Thank you for your partnership in making February a month of growth and celebration!
With Chimera Pride,

This Week\'s Theme: Continuing the Legacy
As we conclude Black History Month, we focus on how each of us can continue the legacy of those who came before us. Students reflect on what they\'ve learned and how they can apply these lessons year-round.
The celebration doesn\'t end with February—the lessons of courage, perseverance, and excellence will continue to guide our learning throughout the year.
