Finishing April Strong!

As we wrap up April, what a month it has been! From our return from Spring Recess to Earth Day celebrations to the end of the Third Marking Period, our students and staff have shown incredible resilience and dedication. We are so proud of this community.

This Wednesday, April 29, is a Half Day PD Day / Early Dismissal. Our teachers will be using this time for professional development focused on supporting students through the upcoming spring assessment season.

As we look ahead to May, the NJSLA testing window will be opening. Our teachers have been expertly preparing students all year long, and we are confident that every Chimera student is ready to show their best. Remember — assessments are just one snapshot of all the amazing learning that happens every day in our classrooms.

Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education. Together, we are making this a remarkable school year.

With Chimera Pride,
Marti Hill-Parker, Acting Superintendent of Schools
